E Street Band's Clarence Clemons Hopes To Join Lady Gaga On Tour

The E Street Band's saxophonist Clarence Clemons, who plays on Lady Gaga's new album, has said he hopes he can perform with the singer live.

Clemons has recently undergone knee and spinal surgery, but said he wanted to accompany Lady Gaga if the logistics between her and the Bruce Springsteen-led group could be balanced.

"If she asked I'd love to," he told Rolling Stone. "If Bruce and Gaga both needed me around the same time I don't know if you could hold me down to the ground.

“If both of 'em came to pass in the same year or two years it would just be...I can't even think like that. It would be so crazy.

“The thing I'd really love to do is have the chance to go out with both of them."

Clemons performs on two songs on Lady Gaga's new album 'Born This Way', which is due to be released in May.
