As another week passes by, it's time once again for Gigwise to bring you a round-up of the news from the last seven days in bite-sized portions - just how you like it.

This week has been all about Glastonbury. The line-up for this year's festival was announced ahead of schedule and included the likes of Beyonce, Queens Of The Stone Age, Paul Simon and U2.

Arctic Monkeys treated fans to their new single 'Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair', taken from their new album, Johnny Marr announced that he has left The Cribs to pursue his own solo work.
