With the U2-scored musical, Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark finally opening on Broadway this week (June 14) after months of set backs it may seem a good idea at the time to combine your favourite musicians with musicals but it's not always the case.

So as U2 finally get their show up and running, Gigwise thought it would be the best time to look back at those musicians who have made the successful transition into musicals and those who haven’t.
