After ten years, and eight movies, the Harry Potter franchise ended on a high yesterday (July 7), as the largest premiere seen in the UK took place at London's Trafalgar Sqaure and Leicester Square.
Fans in their tens of thousands were in attendance to say goodbye to stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, as well as author JK Rowling and the rest of the Potter cast.
The stars made sure the fans wouldn't leave disappointed, with Grint arriving at four o'clock, and still signing autographs three hours later.
Many fans had camped in Trafalgar Square days beforehand, braving all that the British weather could throw at them.
The film was screened in three separate cinemas, with 8,000 wristbands given out to some of those die-hard fans.
For everyone else, however, the wait to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 will have to go on a litte longer, with the film going on general release July 15.
