Los Angeles maternity wards have been busier than ever this year, no thanks in part to a surge in celebrity babies – and as we all know, when a new celebrity baby comes along, so does the crazy baby name.

This year we've welcomed the arrival of Muse star Matt Bellamy and Kate Hudson's first child, Bingham, and Victoria and David Beckham's girl, Harper.

News that a couple has named their child after the main character in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, winning themselves free games from developers Bethesda for the rest of their lives was even weirder!!
