Today is a sad day for metal fans across the world with the news that Roadrunner Records is downisizing its operation, closing their offices in Britain, Germany and Canada.
The news was revealed today with the British office ceasing activity immediately and Canada and Germany set to follow shortly.
A division of Warner Music, Roadrunner has long pioneered rock music and breaking new metal bands, including early releases from Metallica.
The label, formed in 1980, has been home to some of the biggest and best heavy metal bands the world has ever seen. Here we take a look through the best of the best (and Nickelback).
