11 February 2013: The NME Awards Tour 2013 started in Newcastle last week and is likely to be heading to a city near you soon as it continues to bring emerging talents to the forefront.

Known for propelling artists into the public eye, the awards tour has played host to some of the biggest bands around from the likes of Coldplay to Bombay Bicycle Club.

Django Django will be headlining the tour alongside new kids of the block, Palma Violets and singer-songwriter Miles Kane.

Here are some snaps of the three acts doing what they do best on the Scottish leg of the tour.
