4 May 2013: Liverpool played host to a wealth of bands this weekend with Liverpool Sound City, the largest international music, digital and film festival and conference in the UK.
Dutch Uncles, who released their third album Out Of Touch at the start of the year, brought their brand of indie pop to the Merseyside setting, and were joined by fellow Mancunians Egyptian Hip Hop who have been part of the vanguard of the new wave of Manchester bands over the last few years.
Also on offer was self-confessed 'soul powered nerd' Esco Williams, winner of the MOBO 2012 Unsung Award, bringing his mix of soul and R&B to his hometown.
Findlay gave her male counterparts a run for their money with her garage-fuelled energy, blasting the Liverpool festival with her stunning live voice.
