An exhibition of David Bowie's costumes, collections and influences will be seen across the globe as it is taken on a 'world tour'.
Currently at home in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Art Gallery of Ontario announced yesterday that it would be next to host the collection of over 300 objects from the singer's personal archive at the end of September.
However tickets are not on sale yet and it's at least another month before prices are announced and the dates are confirmed. Also, the decision needs to be taken as to whether the exhibition will be part of general admission.
The only other confirmed location so far is Sao Paulo in Brazil which is set to hold the exhibition in early 2014.
The multimedia exhibition maps Bowie's career through his extravagant and pioneering costumes, set designs, and includes photographs and music video's from every stage of his career. It also looks to his work in, and influence on fashion, film, theatre, and sound as well as music.
