Australian band perform Glasto warm-up gig

25 June, 2013: Last night in London, Australian stars Tame Impala performed a Glastonbury warm-up show, ahead of their performance this weekend at the biggest event on the summer calendar for UK music fans.
The band will perform at Worthy Farm, despite recent comments by frontman Kevin Parker, who revealed his dislike for the 'jock' atmosphere at modern festivals, saying that only 10% of festival audiences are there for the music.
"It was a bit more wholesome back then," Parker told Rolling Stone magazine when discussing seeing Kings Of Leon perform at Australia's Big Day Out in 2006. "Back then, it was more about the music. Now, not so much. Now it's more about muscles and how little clothing you can wear. I guess it's the cool thing now to go to a festival. I've played festivals in Australia."
