So, the Mercury Prize 2015 shortlist has been announced - highlighting what the panel believe to be the best of the most forward-thinking UK albums of the last 12 months. However, not everyone is happy.
Among the nominees are the likes of Florence + The Machine, Aphex Twin, Gaz Coombes, Jamie xx, Wolf Alice, Ghostpoet and Roisin Murphy, as well as shining a light on the lesser-known likes of SOAK, C Duncan ESKA and Benjamin Clementine.
As usual, many are delighted to see certain artists recognised in a celebration of great music - while others are furious at other acts being snubbed.
