Jack White has called Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach an 'a**hole', according to court documents.
The former White Stripes singer has been embroiled in a court battle with estranged wife Karen Elson over the past few weeks as she has accused the musician of harassment and has been granted a restraining order against her former husband.
As part of the case, Elson has submitted a series of emails and texts which she believes proves White's 'bullying' behaviour. One of these emails sees White blast Elson's choice to send their children to the same school as Auerbach's kids.
White wrote: "My concern with Auerbach is because I don't want the kids involved in any of that crap. You aren't thinking ahead. That's a possible 12 f**king years I'm going to have to be sitting in kids chairs next to that a**hole with other people trying to lump us in together."

He continued: "He gets yet another free reign to follow me around and copy me and push himself into my world."
White has since hit back at Elson's claims and has filed a countermotion which states he believes his ex-wife's accusations are 'inflammatory' and 'disingenuous.'
