Gwen Stefani turns 44, so why the hell isn't she getting any older?

3 October, 2013: No Doubt frontwoman and solo superstar Gwen Stefani turns 44 today - but that's hard to believe, as she barely seems to have aged since No Doubt's commercial breakthrough in 1995 with their huge smash hit, 'Don't Speak'.

Since then, No Doubt have chalked up hits with tracks including 'Just A Girl', 'Hey Baby', 'Hella Good', their triumphant 2012 comeback 'Settle Down' and follow-up, 'Looking Hot'. Stefani has scored a number of huge solo hits herself, such as 'What You Waiting For', 'Hollaback Girl', 'Cool' and 'The Sweet Escape'.

These days however, she seems to have eased off the gas somewhat, and has instead swapped the rock and roll lifestyle for a full time role as a mum. So, while we wait to see what music venture she has planned next, sit back and ponder why, if she really is 44 today, why the hell has she looks pretty much the same as she did in the mid-nineties? Perhaps she, Jared Leto and Pharrell Williams share the same dark secret...
