- 2014 marks the 20th anniversary of Muse's formation as young teens in Teignmouth, Devon 1994. Frontman Matt Bellamy hinted the legendary band intend to celebrate with their fans after an insane, rarity-packed gig in Tokyo when he tweeted: "Hey, relax; that was just a rehearsal for our 20 year anniversary tour!" 2014 is going to be huge. Next years brings a smorgasboard of tours to celebrate reunions and anniversaries with Muse hinting at a tour to mark 20 years together, among many other bands hinting at special plans to mark a milestone.
Then, there's also a load of albums hitting the 20 year mark, plus, it's been 30 years since the controversial Frankie Goes To Hollywood told everyone to 'relax' in their own special way.
It appears 2014 is going to be the year for milestones in music history from all over the world. From the likes of Manic Street Preachers and Franz Ferdinand to Korn and Rammstein, they all have a reason to be celebrating in 2014. So there may be a few more exciting events planned for fans.
