In news that's sure to anger Jimi Hendrix fans, Adam Lambert performed a cover of the legendary musician's classic 1966 track 'Red House' during a show at a casino on New Year's Eve. Check it out below.
The American Idol alum told the crowd his take on the bluesy track was "last minute". The song, which was originally recorded by the Jimi Hendrix Experience in 1966, has been covered by many artists previously, including Slash and Joe Satriani.

Meanwhile, Lambert is set to continue working with legendary rockers Queen in 2014, having previously toured with the band replacing late frontman Freddie Mercury. Drummer Roger Taylor called Lambert's voice "unbelievable", telling Canoe.ca in December 2013: "I do think we will be working with Adam next year, yeah."
