Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page has confirmed that upcoming Led Zeppelin re-issues will be released in the coming months, and that they will included previously unreleased material.
The news was confirmed after Page posted a statement on his website, saying that the remasters were finally ready.
"It's good news for the New Year," he told fans "The first of the Led Zeppelin releases - comprising of Led Zeppelin I, Led Zeppelin II, Led Zeppelin III and their companion discs - will be released this year.
"I've also been working on some of my own material from the archives that will be unleashed in 2014."

The band have also found a series of unreleased tracks that feature bassist Paul Jones on vocals and are likely to include these with the reissues. Speaking to Radio 6, Robert Plant jokes that Jones is bribing him not to release the new material.
"I found some quarter-inch spools recently," he told the station, "I had a meeting with Jimmy and we baked 'em up and listened to 'em. And there's some very, very interesting bits and pieces that probably will turn up on these things."
Talking of Jones he said: "So far, he's going to give me two cars and a greenhouse not to get 'em on the album,"
