Arctic Monkeys have a busy year lined up, with yet another festival headline slot confirmed for 2014.

The Sheffield superstars have today (7 January, 2014) been confirmed as headliners at Japans' Summer Sonic festival, and will top the bill on Sunday 17 August 2014. The band will be joined by Robert Plant, Avenged Sevenfold and Phoenix at the event.

Arctic Monkeys will also headline Portugal's Optimus Alive and Denmark's Roskilde festival this summer, and top the bill at the UK's T In The Park festival. In 2013 they headlined Glastonbury Festival, and things are only getting bigger as we head into 2014.

As well as their festival commitments, the band will also headline two huge shows in London's Finsbury Park on Friday 23 and 24 May, 2014. Tickets for these events are on sale now. For more information visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.
