Blink 182 have revealed work has begun, as promised, on their brand new album, ahead of this summer's Reading & Leeds festival headline slot.
The band confirmed plans for new material before their return to the UK festival scene this summer, when they were announced for the festival double-header in December 2013, with frontman Mark Hoppus telling fans that "The new year will see us in the studio preparing new music, getting ready to rock the fine people of the UK. Prepare for the fury."
Now, Hoppus has confirmed on Twitter that work has begun, sharing a screenshot of the band's new demos. See below.

No release date or future plans have been revealed by the band or Hoppus. Blink 182 will headline this year's Reading and Leeds festivals alongside Arctic Monkeys and a third, as yet unannounced headliner.
