Evidence the US festival is nothing like UK ones

Provided you haven't been taking part in a short Amish retreat over the weekend, you'll be fully aware that Coachella has been taking place over in California. So far, Outkast have performed their first live show in 8 years, Pharrell's brought the entire population of the music industry onstage, and Beyonce's danced with her sister. There's a few things that, if you're a Brit, are conspicuously absent though - namely rain, mess and mud.
You'll be hard pressed to find a photo from Coachella that doesn't look like a perfectly posed shot for Topshop's summer catalogue. The ground, rather than looking like an uninhabitable marshland, is a lush, green lawn, and people are wearing sunglasses because they actually need them, rather than to hide three days of not washing.
If you don't believe us, here is proof. Not a swamp donkey in sight.
