Bugged Out Weekender, Bognor Regis (16-18 January 2015): Butlins may not seem like the best place to go in January (or most other times of the year to be honest), but the annual Bugged Out Weekender is a completely different ball game. Bringing together the biggest DJ's and producers year in/year out, with 2015 being no different. With loads more to be announced, this year's lineup already includes sets from The Chemical Brothers, Todd Terje, T.E.E.D, Daniel Avery and others. See you in the chalets.
Drill Festival, Brighton (4-7 December): The Great Escape has already taught us that Brighton is a fantastic spot for a festival, which makes us seriously look forward to the inaugural 'Drill'. Curated by Wire, this December event has a stunning lineup, featuring the likes of East India Youth, Toy, Swans, Courtney Barnett and countless others.
The Big Reunion, Skegness (21-29 November): Thankfully nothing to do with the awful TV show (there's not a desperate boyband in sight), The Big Reunion takes over Butlins in Skegness for two identical weekends in November, bringing together some of the UK's biggest chart artists, from Tinie Tempah to Jess Glynn to the likes of Jaguar Skills and Sigma. Needless to say, if you need to rekindle those summer memories this festival might just be the place.
Rise Festival, Les Deux Alpes, France (13-20 December): This winter will see Ibiza Rocks take the energy of their summer takeovers to the slopes, operating in the complete opposite environment but maintaining the astonishing lineup. Featuring Clean Bandit, Jackmaster, Redlight, Artwork, B Traits and a host of others, we're pretty excited by the idea of skiing and seeing bands on the same day.
Eurosonic Noorderslag, Groningen, Netherlands (14-17 January 2015): Kind of like a Dutch Great Escape, Eurosonic combines a music conference with some of the hottest new talent the world has to offer. If you're looking for an idea of who's going to be massive in 2015, this is the place.
Trans Musicales, Rennes, France (3-7 December): Already a well established festival, Trans Musicales takes over the town of Rennes every year with a frankly astonishing lineup of fresh and established talent. This year features Cosmo Sheldrake, Courtney Barnett, Kate Tempest, Raury, Lizzo, and pretty much every other act you should be caring out right now.
Tallin Music Week, Estonia (25-28 March 2015): Estonia probably isn't the first place one looks for new music, but Tallin Music Week is one of Europe's most vital events, and the biggest indoor festival in the Baltic-Nordic region. Bringing together talent that would be missed at most other festivals, a week in Tallin could just be the way to find your new favourite band before anyone else.
Wonderfruit, Thailand (19-21 December): Fancy spending the build up to christmas with Little Dragon, Jose Gonzales, De La Soul, Chet Faker and others in an asian paradise? Wonderfruit might just be one of this year's most exciting festivals.
