Cortez Booze looking to take action over rapper's social media post

Snoop Dogg could face a lawsuit over an alleged 'homophobic' post on his Instagram page.
The rapper had previously been praised for making a stand against hip hop homophobia when he appeared at the end of Sacha Baron Cohen’s Bruno. However Snoop is now under fire after posting a photograph of a fan on his Instagram page with the caption: "Who's auntcle is this?"
The photograph was actually of carer Cortez Booze, who revealed he has been the recipient of a wave of homophobic and transphobic abuse from the rapper’s fans in response to the post. According to The Independent, comments included: "That shemale ain’t gone win," and "U get wat u get if u choose to dress how u dress. Consequences for your choices so use some common sense."
TMZ reported that Cortez approached Instagram to remove the image but when the image remained, he contacted lawyers in order to pursue legal action against the rapper.
The mischievous star is yet to respond to the claims but earlier last week announced he will release a new album in March called 'Bush'. The LP will be produced by Pharrell Williams and will also feature contributions from Stevie Wonder.
