The Swedish group make sure all eyes are on them
22 April 2015: Swedish band Blues Pills brought the riff-littered tracks from their self-titled debut album kicking and screaming into the capital last night. Check out our awesome, exclusive photos from the gig here.
Songs such as 'High Class Woman' and 'Black Smoke' channels the band's combination of influences from soul, blues and psychedelia; this cocktail initiates a raucous live show.
Clad in a shimmering green dress, frontwoman Elin Larsson was suitably chaotic throughout howling lines such as "you've got money in your pocket/you've got blackness in your soul" through 'Devil Man' in a way Robert Plant would be proud.
Guitarist Dorian Sorriaux soloed and riffed over the locked in drum and bass which led the set through the intervening psychedelic grooves and balls-out rock.
