The hotly tipped Uxbridge quartet Bloxx filled out Camden’s Dingwalls last Wednesday (10 April). They brought their infectious indie sound to a packed audience, who lapped up every guitar hook with rapt attention.

Onstage, they were energetic and charismatic, with lead singer Ophelia Booth commanding the stage like a natural. Bloxx play indie rock that comprises grungy guitar hooks and classic indie inflections, and Ophelia is the embodiment of this angsty teenage sentiment.
