“The police are coming,” growls Rascalton’s singer Jack Wyles, and from the gritty tone in his voice you can only assume the Scottish four-piece’s boisterous sonic cavalcade isn’t too far behind either.
Just shy of two and a half minutes long, ‘Police’ is a rambunctious, angst-ridden rock ’n’ roll anthem of rebellion with a punk bite, meandering vocal and percussion more pounding than a Buckfast hangover. But don’t just take our word for it, tune in below…
Speaking about the track, vocalist Wyles explains, “‘Police’ is a trip down to the park on a Saturday night when all the wee bams come out to play. A story of white lies to your mother and blurry scraps because of the tonic wine." And after beginning to craft a blistering back catalogue, their brazen sound has won them support slots with Idles, Cabbage and Marmozets.
