More about: The Facades
In February, TF shared their annual big list of Ones to Watch in the world of indie music in 2022. Every week, you can meet a new artist that made it onto that list...
If you had to put your music in two genres, which would you choose?
Alternative and indie rock.
What kind of stuff can you imagine your music being the soundtrack for?
Someone once said they could hear us on Peaky Blinders which would be very nice.
Tell us an older artist and a brand new artist that inspires you.
The Coral and Wolf Alice, it would be hard to just pick two though as we take our inspirations from a lot of places.
What's the best part of playing live?
The atmosphere and seeing new faces come to see us every time we play a new venue.
Tell us about your latest release.
The reaction to Don't Ask has been great! We had exclusive plays on XS Manchester and BBC Introducing and this feelings track of the day. It's the second song that we wrote when we first got put into lockdown so it has been nice to finally get the track out and play it live to people.
What have you got coming up?
We will be playing a massive festival at Ewood Park in Blackburn in May which we are really looking forward to and have also planned our first 2 headline shows which we are yet to announce. Hopefully going to be a good year for us, we can't wait to release some more music.
What other bands tipped by this feeling this year do you like or looking forward to seeing?
We really enjoy listening to a lot of This Feelings bands but a couple that we really like are our mates Flechettes who we played for this feeling with back in December. There's a lot of great bands and artists coming from this feeling so it would be impossible to name them all but we can't wait to get out and watch them.
