A lot of people were disappointed when Azealia Banks pulled out of Bestival 2012. The Other Tribe were not among those people.
Of course, the Bristol six-piece wanted to see the '212' star perform live like the rest of us, but her cancellation meant that the band were bumped up the bill to perform at Bestival's second biggest stage, The Big Top. They shared the stage with the likes of Major Lazer, Justice, Miike Snow and Stooshe (but lets skip over that last one eh?)
The band have been gathering pace in 2012 with their brilliant blend of hi-energy dance beats and indie-band sensibilities and are sure to be named in the ones to watch for 2013. We caught up with the band to discuss their favourite UK festivals, being bumped-up the Bestival schedule and why seeing Soulwax live persuaded them to drop their former indie sound...
