Tomorrow, 18 April, marks the ninth annual edition of Record Store Day. With limited edition releases from the likes of Foo Fighters, Bob Dylan, Laura Marling and The Jesus & Mary Chain, there's going to be a lot of music fans queuing patiently (and some impatiently) around the block of every record shop in the UK.
It's not just the releases you should be planning for though - many of the participating stores are planning accompanying events, from album playbacks to DJ sets to live performances to street parties. We've trawled through all of the events happening across the country, and picked out the best for you.
Berwick Street street party
One of the most important places to be tomorrow if you live in or around London, Berwick Street's annual street party will be hosted by BBC 6 Music's Shaun Keaveny, and will see live performances from the likes of John Cooper Clarke, Young Knives, 2 Bears and Gang Of Four. All of the brilliant record stores on this street - Sister Ray, Reckless Records, Music and Video Exchange, Phonica and Sounds Of The Universe - are more than worth a visit.
Mumford & Sons album playback
Those of you who are anxiously awaiting Mumford & Sons' new album, Wilder Mind, should make sure you're in one of the following five cities tomorrow: Bristol, Cheltenham, Worcestor, Nottingham, London - because they'll be hosting playbacks of Wilder Minds in participating stores. See the specific stores in which you can listen to Mumford's new, banjo-less album here.
Ample Play's world's smallest record shop
The label are looking to repeat the success of last year, opening what they claim will be the world's smallest record shop on Albion Road, for one day only. Inspired by E.F.Schumacher's Small Is Beautiful: A Study Of Economics As If People Mattered, the lable are promising "bargains and a great day out" from their miniature venture.
Phonica Records planning surprise DJ sets
The London Poland Street store will host a string of DJs tomorrow - but the specifics are top secret until the day. "Do you plan to announce the DJs playing?" asked one of their 48,000 Facebook fans. "...nope!" came the reply. So you'll just have to wait and see.
Nottingham Music Exchange with Pulled Apart By Horses
Nottingham Music Exchange are teaming up with Rough Trade Nottingham to host the likes of The Leisure Society and Pulled Apart By Horses. As if that wasn't enough, the first 50 customers will be entered into a raffle to win a Rega turntable.
Soho Radio special RSD programme
Pete Paphides is amongst the music experts set to host a show on Soho Radio tomorrow, and he's invited music fans to bring in their vinyls, and he'll play them out.
If you’re in London for @RSDUK between 10am-midday, bring in your vinyl spoils to @sohoradio at 22c Gt Windmill St & I’ll play them on air.

Deal Real to return with hip hop pop-up shop
The beauty of the phrase "hip hop pop-up shop" alone justifies this particular event - but there's also the added bonus of live performances from Kano, Ghetts and Novelist at Deal Real's temporary home on Newburgh Street. The iconic store closed its doors in 2007, so this is a rare chance to re-live former glories.
Lion Coffee + Records' live performances and DJ sets
The London store, which, as its name suggests, combines coffee drinking and record shopping with real panache, is hosting Dirty Harrys, Wyldeck and more, and will also provide DJ sets from TOY's Charlie Salvidge and SPLASHH's Sasha Carlson to name but a few.
Manchester's Piccadilly Records to host their own Record Of The Year winner
Piccaddilly Records named Jane Weaver's The Silver Globe their album of 2014, and she's returning the favour by performing live in the Manchester store on RSD, along with performances from Dutch Uncles and Charlatans' Tim Burgess. You'll also have the opportunity to try your hand at screen printing courtesy or illustrator and designer That Girl.
Ron Sexsmith to play at Rough Trade East
Sexsmith will perform a selection of songs from his album Carousel One, and, a press release promises, "will no doubt treat us to a nugget or two from his dozen plus album back catalogue." We'll hold them to that. There'll also be a DJ set from The 2 Bears and Toddla T, plus many more.
Resident Brighton hosting day-long festival
The seaside store will kick off a festival of performances with TRAAMS, Foreign Skin and Bernholz and will also host Q&As and panel debates, including one on releasing your own music. If you're a budding young musician, this is one not to miss.
Soul Jazz Records to open pop-up shop in Soho
Soho is probably one of the best places to go tomorrow if you love music and hate cars - the area will be entirely closed off to traffic, while Sounds Of The Universe orchestrate a free barrio-style street block party, with DJs playing inside and outside the shop all day. On the same street, Soul Jazz Records will open an exciting pop-up shop.
Dig Vinyl, Liverpool hosting an Adam Ant signing
The musician will be re-releasing Kings Of The Wild Frontier and Antmusic as a double-A sided limited edition gold vinyl, and will be in store in Liverpool signing copies for fans. The store is also promising 10% off all non-RSD stock.
Jumbo Records hosting George Clinton signing
The principal architect of P-Funk and the mastermind of the bands Parliament and Funkadelic will be in Leeds' Jumbo Records to sign copies of his records ahead of his gig at the O2 Academy later that night.
