Noel Gallagher has once again dismissed rumours of an Oasis reunion, saying, "It's not going to happen. I can't be arsed."

The singer's interview with Alan Carr on Channel 4's Chatty Man is set to air tonight (1 May). In the interview, which was filmed earlier in the week, Carr suggested Gallagher's High Flying Birds should team up with brother Liam's Beady Eye to create BirdsEye. "As enticing as that sounds," replied Noel, "I don't think it's going to happen. Sorry."

When pushed about the possibility of an Oasis reunion, speculation for which was recently fuelled by reports in The Sun and other publications, Gallagher said, "I've got nothing more to say on it that I haven't already said. It's not to happen. No, I can't be arsed."

In the same interview, Gallagher described Ed Miliband as a "fucking Communist", and Nicola Sturgeon as an "unpleasant little woman from over the border" with "cheap shoes".

Oasis split in 2009 after tensions between Noel and Liam Gallagher came to a head. They've since made peace, but consistently denied rumours that they're set to reform their former band.

Noel Gallagher and his High Flying Birds are playing a handful of UK festivals this summer, including Latitude, T In The Park and Clapham's Calling Festival. For tickets and more information, click here.
