Adele took to Twitter to thank fans for their birthday wishes sent on Tuesday (6 May) by posting a photo from her celebrations, which was presumably a costume party.
The singer, who turned 27 this week, chose to dress up as George Michael around the 'Faith' era, you can see the photobooth snap and accompanying message below:

Adele caused a stir on her 26th birthday, when she suggested her new album was going to drop in 2014, suggesting that the title was set to be 25, it read: "Bye bye 25, see you again later this year."
Adele's eagerly anticipated album experienced another setback recently where it was reported the release was not due to drop until September 2015. She has been rumoured to of been collaborating with Phil Collins, Damon Albarn, Ryan Tedder and James Ford.
