On the back of The Gaslight Anthem’s “indefinite hiatus”, frontman Brian Fallon has released his debut solo single, ‘A Wonderful Life’ from his new album and will be heading out on a UK tour next year.
Fallon’s debut solo LP Painkillers will be dropping in March next year through Virgin EMI Records and was produced by Butch Walker, a legend who’s worked with everybody from Weezer and Frank Turner to Taylor Swift and Avril Lavigne. His debut track 'A Wonderful Life' is appropriately energetic and presents Fallon with his heart on his sleeve as always.
The record was recorded earlier this year at Nashville’s Taxidermy Studios with Fallon fronting a formidable band including Molly & The Zombies bassist Catherine Popper (Jack White, Ryan Adams & The Cardinals, Willie Nelson) and drummer Mark Stepro (Hayes Carll, Jackson Browne).
