The likes of Johnny Marr, Jessie Ware, Enter Shikari and more have spoken out on election day, as UK citizens take to the polling stations to vote today (Thursday 7 May).
In what is set to be a close race, having been described as one of the most unpredictable elections in recent times, emotions are running high as voters make their decision.
Amid all the speculation, stars of the music world have taken online to voice their opinion, with many simply urging their followers to vote, while the likes of Johnny Marr, Rou Reynolds, Dev Hynes and Kate Nash has shown their political allegiances with pride:

— Rou Reynolds (@RouReynolds) May 7, 2015
For me there is only 2 sane positions in this election. - Voting tactfully against Tories. - Voting small parties for democracy/reform
