Following the unexpected results of last night's UK election, stars of the music world have taken to Twitter to voice their opinion.
It was always slated as an unpredictable race, but no one quite expected the Conservative landslide that appears to have taken place - with David Cameron's Tory party taking the majority in The House Of Commons, avoiding the need for coalition by just a few seats.
Staunch anti-Conservative and Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has voiced his digust online, saying "the City must be very pleased... (spits)". Yorke has already spoken out against the government's 'staggering hypocrisy' over tax avoidance.
Enter Shikaris Rou Reynold's agrees, saying that Tory areas "are clearly full of the heartless", while Charlotte Church put the result down to "the politics of fear".
Meanwhile, Mogwai's Stuart Braithwaite voiced his joy at the massive SNP win across Scotland, writing "my dad would have loved this".

Labour were Tory Light. They should have been bold & truly left leaning. SNP smashed it & we know that's why.

Where I was born & where I live remain Tory. Both have: food banks underfunded NHS huge inequality & are clearly full of the heartless.

Scotland's one Tory hold on by a margin that wouldn't fill The Garage. Rule Britannia. #GE15

People scared of immigrants. People scared of Scotland. Negative voting. Negative result. Night all.

The politics of fear is the politics of control and we've given the reigns to the bogey men.

“@AgedBobby: @charlottechurch pic.twitter.com/zyUD84LduK” Don't get me started on this dickhead!

Ominous. Marginal majority means it's no longer the Libs, but the sadistic 1922 element of Tory back benches that will temper policy.

No. Labour lost in England. As did the Liberals. Bleak. https://t.co/qJjGKE4UDF
