More about: Glastonbury FestivalGroove Armada
Groove Armada seem to have self-confirmed themselves for Glastonbury, by listing the June event on the tour dates page on their website.
The electro duo have been plotting their live return recently, with dates at a number of this years festivals including Isle of Wight, Lovebox and Kendall Calling.
Now they have listed themselves for playing Glastonbury on their website. Whilst it hasn't been officially confirmed, it seems they will be joining the likes of Foo Fighters, The Who, Kanye West and Paul Weller.
The pair also confirmed a new album yesterday which is part of record label Moda Black's Little Black Book series which is part album, remix album and compilation album. The release will include eight brand new Groove Armada recordings, as well as ten exclusive remixes of highlights from the duo's back-catalogue as well as a photo book.
"People were saying if you're going to write new material you need to put it out on a major, get the band back together, unleash the machine," the band said in a statement. "But we don't want to do that. We want to play and make house music, and that's all”.
The group are streaming their new track 'Alright' which was Annie Mac's hottest record last night (May 11)
