The Cribs soaked up the sun and delivered a career-spanning set at The Other Stage at Glastonbury today (Friday 26 June).
Opening with the classic 'Mirror Kissers' and leaning on their brilliant new album For All My Sisters, Ryan Jarman and co battled their fatigue to rush through some staple indie classics - in the highest of spirits.
"I know it's early," smiled Ryan, giving the crowd a rousing call to arms, "but we only got three hours' sleep last night."
The sun shone down as the band tore through the likes of 'Cheat On Me' and 'I'm A Realist' with an unexpected highlight coming when Sonic Youth's Lee Ranaldo appeared on the big screen for a brilliant video to deliver his spoken word part in 'Be Safe'.
Paying tribute to 'old school Cribs fans', the band ended with a Freddie Mercury-esque choral sing-along before Ryan signed off with "Don't do anything I wouldn't do - see you next year."
