James McElvar of Scottish boyband, Rewind, fell ill after trying to cheat his way out of a £45 charge on his EasyJet flight.
As one fifth of the five piece boy band, Rewind, you'd think McElvar could rely on his bandmates to share the load.
Talking to The Sun, he recounted: "The woman said either one bag went in the hold or we weren't getting on. The rest of the band had gone through so I couldn't give them any of the clothes". He continued: "I was told I'd either have to apy a £45 fee to get it on the plane, get the flight the next morning, bin the clothes or wear them".
Opting for the latter, you can admire the 19 year old's tenacity as he brazenly shifted on 12 layers out of his suitcase and onto his person.
During his flight to the the band's hometown of Glasgow this Wednesday (July 8), the singer "became violently ill and suffered a fit" with "an off-duty paramedia treat[ing] him as passengers looked on".
But fear not, Rewind fans, the band's Twitter confirmed McElvar will make a full recovery as you can see from their tweets below.
For everyone asking James is ok. He is being looked after in hospital now back home safe in Glasgow. He sends you all his love 😘
