In all the excitement of Axl Rose’s new role as temporary frontman of AC/DC, it was easy to forget that some fans might not have been thrilled at the prospect. Thankfully, someone was on hand with a petition to remind us.
The Guns N’ Roses frontman stepped into Brian Johnson’s shoes after Johnson was urged to 'stop touring immediately' or risk losing his hearing, midway through the band’s current Rock Or Bust tour.
While many people were excited about the impromptu supergroup, some weren’t happy. In fact, a petition calling for AC/DC to refund tickets for the shows gained 1,500 signatures.
I think it's only right that fans get an option for a refund on #ACDC tickets.

Axl Rose is Guns n Roses lead singer....
Pretty fucking shocking if @acdc aren't going to offer refunds if you don't want to see Axhole Rose. 👎🏻https://t.co/TN5LFnj3Sk

Now, fans who bought tickets for the band’s London Olympic Stadium show on 4 June have been given the opportunity to claim their money back - but they only have until 5pm on Friday, 6 May to do so. It's not yet been confirmed whether tickets for the rest of the tour will be refunded.
