Ryan Adams surprised fans at a recent concert by paying tribute to Dave Grohl and performing a beautiful cover of Foo Fighters' classic 'Times Like These'. Check it out below.
R'Adams was performing at a show at Australia's iconic Sydney Opera House when we spoke in homage of Grohl being “able to continue doing what he loved even though he was totally broken" - referring to his return to the live stage after breaking his leg.
He then dipped into the latter era Foos' track, translating its stadium rock anthemics into a heartfelt, aching, acoustic ballad. Like he did with Oasis' 'Wonderwall', made it truly his own and outshone the original.
Adams and Foo Fighters performed together at London's Invictus Games last year.
