New Order are back with their first new single in a decade - check out 'Restless' below.
'Restless' is the first taster of their upcoming tenth album, Music Complete - and is a typically elegiac but majestically restrained dose of statesman-like electro-pop, as the band lean towards a charming blend of laissez-faire synth strings and guitar work, while frontman Barney Sumner holds a mirror up to the shallow, quick-fix nature of the modern world.
It may be their first new work without Peter Hook, but the track sounds so complete and New Order that the lack of the usual wandering bass tones are hardly noticed.
It's so good to have them back.
