Foals have revealed that they were offered the chance to perform a secret set at Glastonbury this year, but turned it down as they were too 'unfit'.
However, now Foals have confessed that they were invited first, but had to refuse as they hadn't had chance to rehearse new material from their upcoming album What Went Down, didn't want to play only old material, and that they felt they were too 'unfit' at the time.
"I’d been smoking too much," frontman Yannis Philippakis told Q. "Our shows are so physical that I’d have been wheezing.”
