Brandon Flowers and Donald Cumming of The Virgins performed a cover of Buster Poindexter's 'Heart of Gold' in Boston last night (4 August). Watch it below.
Having served as the support act for his American tour, Cumming joined Flowers mid-way through his headline set at the House Of Blues, and the pair proceeded to share their surprise verson of the song, much to the crowd's delight.
Released in 1987 by New York Dolls frontman David Johansen under his Buster Pointdexter moniker, 'Heart of Gold' showcases one of the many wide-ranging influences from which Flowers takes inspiration.
