At every gig, there's that clever dick that insists on declaring their undying love for the singer in an attempt to snare them. Well, Chvrches frontwoman Lauren Mayberry isn't a fan - watching her perfectly shutting one fan down below.
"Marry me!" insists the fan to singer, before she takes the time to reply "Oh, come on - what's the hit rate on that? When you go to public places and ask women you don't know if they want to wed you?
"Does that work out well? Also, I assume that because you're here, that you know about our band? I'm very grumpy, and I don't want that shit. Thank you everybody else, sorry for shaming that one person but if nobody tells you, then you're never going to know."
She added "luckily for me right now, I have a microphone and you don't so it works in my favour at this particular juncture" before some burk asks "why are you grump Lauren, what's wrong?" before she flips him the bird. Right on.

This should come as no surprise, as Mayberry has frequently spoken out about the disgusting misogyny she experiences on a daily basis - making headlines when she appeared on Channel 4 News to speak out against sexism in music.
Anyway, back to music. After launching it at an incredibly and intimate gig in London last week, Chvrches' brilliant second album Every Open Eye is out now.
