Bad news for Kanye West fans - Barack Obama will not be forcing the rapper to release his new album Swish next week.
A petition was started online and, after gaining 100,000 signatures, therefore warranted a response from the President. Optimism was shortlived, however, as the White House removed it from the We The People website, citing a term of participation violation.
Before disappearing from the internet, the petition explained that "Kanye West has kept us thirsty for too long". While we happen to agree, we won't be starting another one.

Earlier this month, Kanye lent his support to Drake in his ongoing feud with Meek Mill. The pair, along with Will Smith, were filmed backstage in hysterics while flicking through memes of Mill.
