Royal Blood are set to support Foo Fighters at their forthcoming Milton Keynes National Bowl shows.
Royal Blood were originally set to support the Foos for a series of UK tour dates in May and June, but the tour was infamously cancelled after frontman Dave Grohl fell off stage and broke his leg at a gig in Sweden. They have since returned to the road - with Grohl performing from his own custom-made, drug-inspired throne.
Now, they're heading back to the UK to play some massive shows in Edinburgh and Milton Keynes in September.
"You have always stood by our band, and we will always stand by you," said Grohl at the time of the injury. "Like I say at every show, we wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you guys. And I mean that. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. And I will do everything I can to come back and give you a night to remember for the rest of your lives as soon as possible."
It's now been revealed that Royal Blood have been recruited to support Foo Fighters for their Milton Keynes gigs on 5 and 6 September, alongside their previously-announced support slot in Edinburgh on 8 September.
Iggy Pop is also set to support the Milton Keynes shows, while Honeyblood will open for their Edinburgh date.
