Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne have announced that they're to split up - via the medium of Instagram.
The arena rock power couple, and closest thing we had to the Canadian Jay Z and Beyonce, will be divorcing after two years of marriage together.
Lavigne took to Instagram to share the news with fans along with a photo from their weeding day, posting:
"It is with a heavy heart that Chad and I announce our separation today," she wrote. "Through not only the marriage, but the music as well, we've created many unforgettable moments. We are still and forever will be, the best of friends, and will always care deeply for each other. To all our family, friends and fans, thank you sincerely for the support."

Nickelback recently cancelled a UK and EU arena tour due to illness, while Avril Lavigne has been battling with Lyme disease.
