Speaking with Digital Spy, the band explained that they'd love to play Glasto one day, but that it won't be happening next year. "If there's an offer, we'll think about doing it definitely," drummer Roger Taylor explained.
Bassist John Taylor added, "Well it's not going to be next year." The band also spoke about how they've been crafting more successfull festival performances over the years. "It's still a new experience," John said.
"When we had our reunion ten years ago, the festival business had come back in a big way. So we kind of had to learn it, and we're still learning it really. We developed our thing in arenas, so we're still figuring it out. But we're getting there."
Gigwise caught up with Duran Duran's Simon Le Bon at last week's Q Awards, speaking with him about his extensive career, surviving in the music industry and what makes a truly good Bond theme song.
