Gary Barlow and co are set for a huge summer

Take That have announced details of a huge London show at British Summer Time Festival next year. 

Last year's run of events saw massive gigs from the likes of Taylor Swift, Blur and The Strokes - now the first name revealed for next year is out there, in the shape of maturing manband Take That. 

 “If someone would have told us in 1991 ‘hey guys in 24 years you’re going to be playing at one of the most famous parks in the world’, I probably wouldn’t have believed whoever said iT," said Gary Barlow in a statement. "We are thrilled to have been invited to headline Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park. The atmosphere will be amazing, I know that between us and the audience, there’s going to be an incredible energy."

Take That will play British Summer Time at London's Hyde Park on Saturday 9 July, 2016. Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday 13 November and are available here

Meanwhile, Take That are due to re-release their latest album III later this month.
