Speaking about the Paris attacks on Irish radio, Bono said: "If you think about it, the majority of victims last night are music fans. This is the first direct hit on music that we’ve had in this so-called War on Terror or whatever it’s called. It's very upsetting. These are our people. This could be me at a show."
It's not just U2 who cancelled their tour out of respect, Lapsley, Electrix Six, Bondax and Braids are some of the few who have cancelled Paris shows. In the wider music world, Madonna, Muse, The Libertines and more have shared their condolences for the people of Paris.
