Status Quo’s Rick Parfitt is currently recovering in a Turkish hospital after suffering a heart attack.
The guitarist was taken to hospital after a concert in Antalya on Wednesday morning (15 June).
According to the 67-year-old’s manager, Simon Porter, “While his condition is serious, he has already demanded his customary cup of tea with two sugars and a sweetener.”
He added, “No further comment will be made at this stage until the completion of the next round of tests and assessments to be made over the next few days.”
This isn’t Parfitt’s first heart attack - he had one back in 2011, as well as a throat cancer scare in 2005.
