It's been a big year for Kendrick Lamar – the TDE rapper dropped his critically acclaimed album To Pimp A Butterfly in March, and has been touring his 'King Kunta Groove Sessions' at venues in North America and Australia alongside fellow Black Hippy crew member Jay Rock.
Just days ago, the pair teamed up again on a new version of Jay Rock's track 'Traffic Jam (Easy Bake)'. The original track on his second album 90059 features Top Dawg Entertainment singer SZA, whose vocals remain intact on the new version.

Kendrick, whose tracks include 'I', 'King Kunta' and 'Alright', has given several special performances this following the release of his third studio album. In September, he made a special appearance on Late Night with Stephen Colbert, and a month later performed with the National Symphony Orchestra in the Kennedy Center, Washington D.C.
Following appearances at festivals around the world, Lamar announced his King Kunta Groove Sessions tour, which began in October. Many of the general admission tickets have already sold out, but further dates have been added in North America, Australia and New Zealand. He'll be touching down in Florida, Texas, Sydney and Auckland with his backing band The Wesley Theory and Jay Rock.
