More about: The Killers
It's the first day of December and that means one thing: The Killers have unveiled their 2015 Christmas song, 'Dirt Sledding'. It's their first new music in a while - they released their last album, Battle Born, back in 2012 - and all proceeds go to charity. Now, a last minute Christmas tour would be nice.
'Dirt Sledding', which features actor Richard Dreyfuss and Ryan Pardey as Santa, is the third and final chapter in a trilogy storyline revolving around a Santa with a grudge, and follows 'Don't Shoot Me Santa' and 'I Feel It In My Bones'.
The song's first minute and a half is a sort of muffled, atmospheric ballad, before it suddenly bursts into a syncopated, '60s rock 'n roll song. "Pretty girls, Christmas lights, mistletoe, holy lights / Don't it sound like heaven on a cloud?"

As with the band's previous Christmas releases, all proceeds from 'Dirt Sledding' will go to AIDS charities, as part of the Product Red campaign. The video is set to go online later today.
